Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Fieldra, a field-operations application provided by Proteus Technologies, LLC (“Fieldra,” “we,” “us”). Fieldra is a registered trade name of Proteus Technologies, LLC. By accessing or using Fieldra, you agree to these Terms. If you use Fieldra on behalf of a company, you agree on its behalf.
1. The service
Fieldra provides tools for contractors to manage jobs, crew, schedules, timekeeping, expenses, messaging, and an AI assistant. The mobile app is a companion to a workspace; plans and billing are handled separately with your company.
2. Accounts & access
Fieldra is for teams. Your company administrator provisions your access using your phone number and (optionally) email; you sign in with a one-time code. Keep your account credentials and device secure, and notify us of any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Fieldra to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malicious code, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or access data you're not authorized to see.
4. Your content
You and your company retain ownership of the content you submit (jobs, photos, expenses, messages, etc.). You grant us the limited rights needed to host and provide the service. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the right to upload it.
5. AI assistant
Fieldra includes an AI assistant that helps with operational tasks. Its outputs may contain errors and are provided for assistance only — verify important information (especially anything affecting safety, code compliance, or finances) before relying on it.
6. Availability & changes
We work to keep Fieldra available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Fieldra is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proteus Technologies, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
8. Termination
You or your company may stop using Fieldra at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.
9. SMS messaging terms
Fieldra is a registered trade name of Proteus Technologies, LLC. Users and other project participants may affirmatively opt in to receive recurring operational SMS notifications from Fieldra. Fieldra does not send text messages to a mobile number without that opt-in.
Fieldra currently uses SMS for certain operational communications, including subcontractor scheduling-related messages. As additional Fieldra notification features are enabled, opted-in participants may also receive other operational notifications relating to work they are a party to. Examples may include:
- project and workspace updates;
- job and start-date reminders;
- schedule changes;
- subcontractor and bid updates;
- new comments or project information;
- photo and update notifications;
- decisions requiring action;
- change orders requiring review or signature;
- worker and job reminders;
- requests or reminders concerning project photos, receipts, or updates; and
- related account and project notifications.
This list describes the intended scope of the program rather than messages Fieldra sends today, and no message type is sent until the corresponding feature is enabled and you have opted in. Sign-in and verification codes are authentication messages sent only when requested; they are not part of this operational notification program and are handled separately.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
Reply STOP to opt out. You may cancel Fieldra SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any Fieldra message (PARAR, BAJA, CANCELAR, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work the same way); your carrier delivers the opt-out confirmation and Fieldra stops sending SMS notifications to that number. Only you can restart them, by replying START. Reply HELP for help. You may also contact us at support@fieldra.net or +1 (201) 377-9077.
Opting out of SMS does not terminate your Fieldra account and does not necessarily prevent other permitted notification channels, such as in-app or email notifications.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, device, and network conditions, which are outside our control.
Consent to receive SMS messaging is not a condition of purchasing Fieldra or of using an otherwise available Fieldra service, unless a specific communication is inherently necessary to provide a service you have requested.
Mobile information collected in connection with Fieldra SMS notifications is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including the section “SMS and Mobile Messaging Privacy.” The canonical description of the program — including current message types, supported keywords, and how consent is obtained — is the Fieldra SMS Notifications page at fieldra.net/sms.
